Over the course of a midwife's career, a moment may arrive when you find yourself in a legal or regulatory situation. This may involve being directly engaged in litigation or when you are indirectly engaged (as in the case of serving as an expert).

• Lawsuits
• Scope of Practice

Regardless of where they stand in relation to a legal or disciplinary proceeding, midwives are encouraged to call the AOM On-Call team for support and advice.
