Honouring Black History Month (2018)

The AOM recognizes and celebrates the work of black midwives, leaders, researchers, and activists who have strengthened Ontario health care. We recognize the vast disparities that exist in health care and provision of reproductive and perinatal care due to anti-black racism. The AOM is committed to addressing this issue and building a responsive profession that has equity, diversity and inclusion at its core. We celebrate #BlackMidwives this #BlackHistoryMonth and always.
